Our Mission

Facteus is on a mission to help democratize data insights by safely unlocking valuable data sets and increasing data literacy through technology. Through our synthetic data engine, MIMIC™, we safely unlock more data sets for research and insights. Our natural language data platform Mobius™ is the first Generative AI app connected to real-time consumer spending data. Ask anything about spending and instantly get insights on spending trends, shoppers, stores, and the economy.

 

Our Story

 

Facteus, formerly ARM Insight, has been rooted in analyzing transaction data from inception. We started as a data and analytics firm building Big Data systems for some of the world’s largest banks and payment processors. With an intimate understanding of the US payments ecosystem, we were able to successfully become experts in developing PCI Level 1 data platforms that could both integrate with legacy banking systems and modern Big Data Cloud analytical data warehousing technology.

With unique combinations of deep industry expertise, transaction data domain knowledge, and compliance experience, we developed our synthetic data platform MIMIC™ to expand into data monetization. Facteus’ MIMIC™ platform allows banking institutions and processors to safely and compliantly monetize their transaction data.

Today, Facteus offers compliant data from the largest US consumer debit & credit card transaction data set in the industry. Clients include top hedge funds, researchers, top universities, government agencies, retailers, and marketing professionals from around the globe.

 

Möbius Strip

The Möbius strip is a surface with only one side (when embedded in three-dimensional Euclidean space) and only one boundary curve. The Möbius strip is the simplest non-orientable surface. It can be realized as a ruled surface.

For Facteus, the Möbius strip represents simplicity within complexity. It’s mathematically complex yet elegant and simple. Similarly, data can have endless complexity associated with it, yet insights from data are often extremely simple.
